Material wasteSustainability at Cityart isn't a marketing initiative — it's how we operate. We've invested in clean energy, certified inks, and lean production methods because they make better products, healthier workplaces, and lower long-term costs.

Clean Energy
Solar panels installed since 2022 generate over 60 MWh annually, cutting approximately 24 tonnes of CO₂ per year and reducing our reliance on grid electricity.

Cleaner Printing Technology
We print using GREENGUARD Gold-certified UV inks — the same low-emission standard accepted in schools and healthcare environments. LED-UV curing produces no ozone, and our soft ink uses nickel-free pigments not found in standard inks.

Cleaner Production
We've replaced acid-etched copper dies with CNC-machined dies — eliminating hazardous chemical waste from our embossing process. Optimised cutting layouts also keep aluminium offcut rates below 10%, with all scrap sold for recycling rather than disposed of as waste.

Near-Paperless Operations
Our factory floor runs on a near-paperless system — most jobs move through production on a single work sheet. Most administrative communication has shifted to digital where customer requirements allow, significantly reducing day-to-day paper consumption.
