Materials

The material we reach for when colour has to last. Polycarbonate is reverse-printed — the ink is applied to the back, so the surface protects it and it cannot be scratched or worn off. Indoor grade comes in 0.25 and 1 mm; outdoor grade is 0.178 mm with a UV coating that stops yellowing and holds colour for 5 years or more. Both can be embossed and bent. Printed up to 1.2 m wide and any length on our digital line.

We die-cut stickers to any shape, print up to 1.2 m wide and any length, and can apply them onto other materials for added strength.

Five types to choose from

• Standard PVC — flexible, die-cuts cleanly, suited to indoor use

• 3M outdoor grade — holds up to sun and rain for around 3 years, colour will not fade, high-quality adhesive

• High heat resistant — for parts that get hot, such as machine plates and high-temperature components

• Metallic foil — silver and gold, for a premium finish

• VOID security — leaves a tamper mark when peeled, preventing removal and replacement

A glass-like material with real depth. Available clear or in any colour you choose, in thicknesses up to 10 mm — thicker than any other material we hold. Printed on the reverse so the colour sits under the surface and cannot come off. Best suited to indoor use, where its clarity and finish are seen at their best. In stock and cut to shape.

Stainless steel is highly durable. It will not rust and stands up to industrial conditions that wear other materials down. Printed by silk screen or UV digital.

Other materials we can produce on

• ABS — lightweight, prints by both UV and silk screen

• PVC foam board — 3–10 mm thick, suited to large-format signage

These materials are made to order. Ask our sales team to specify the material, thickness, and size you need.

We can combine several materials in a single piece, so you get both appearance and durability in the same product.

Common combinations

• Acrylic laminated over aluminium — a deep, glass-like look with a handsome aluminium surface beneath

• Stickers on an aluminium or acrylic base — adds strength and thickness to a sticker product
